This Summer, we had the pleasure of teaching and facilitating the Dance course on DFUNK Summer Camp in Løgumkloster. During a three day workshop, we tried and trained in different West African styles, as well as in other traditional styles as represented by our student group: Eritrean, Syrian, Kurdish, Somalian dances – It was a truly inspiring experience.
By the end of our workshop, we put together a show for locals from Løgumkloster and around, as well as the students from the other subject areas (fine arts and nature) incorporating different styles and expressions.
